The mission statement of Christian Unified Schools of San Diego is, “Recognizing the preeminence of Christ, Christian Unified Schools of San Diego teaches students to think, learn, and live from a Biblical worldview by integrating God and His Word as the primary source of knowledge and Truth.” To accomplish this goal, each teacher is a committed follower of Christ, dedicated to academic excellence, and focused on nurturing each student’s faith in God.
The primary responsibility for raising a child is given to the parent. However, once a child begins school, he or she spends an average of 1,260 hours each year in the classroom. The school environment is the greatest single influence on a child other than the home. Therefore, the importance of receiving instruction from a Biblical worldview is paramount. Without question, whatever worldview students are exposed to at school will directly impact their lives.
