The total hours per deadline are cumulative.  If you are planning an extended trip that will complete the required hours for the year (for example, a short-term mission trip with church or school) please contact the school office so that they may put a note in your records. For one time events, click on the hyperlink (if provided) or call the phone number for more information and the contact person for the project.

Mrs. Blake will notify the students via email and the daily bulletin of additional opportunities throughout the year. 

Log Sheets should be turned in within 2 weeks of the service event.

 21st Fall Festival at CES West - 211 S. Third Street, EC.  4:45 to 8:30 pm.  Help run carnival booths, cake walk, and monitor blow up slide.  Pizza and water for all who volunteer. Contact Ami Powell to volunteer.

1st Angel Tree Christmas Party.  8am to 4:30 in the SMCC Generations Building. Need help from 8am to 11:30am to set up the party and decorate; from 12 to 3pm helping at the party (serving refreshments, helping with games, handing out gifts; from 3 to 4:30pm cleaning up.  Contact Tom Heyer at to sign up to volunteer.


26th Angel Tree Softball/Baseball Sports Clinic
At Shadow Mountain, check in for volunteers starts at 7:30 am at the Spider

8th  Tim Tebow Foundation and Church:SD are presenting "Night to Shine.   If you would like to sign up to help, there is a volunteer form on this website  There are many ways to serve.  Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. This February 8, 2019, Night to Shine will celebrate its fifth anniversary! On one night, 655 churches from around the world came together to host Night to Shine for approximately 100,000 honored guests through the support of 200,000 volunteers!
11th  Needed:  20 volunteers to babysit at the Shadow Mountain Young Marrieds Valentine's Day Dinner.  All high school students, boys and girls, are welcome.  Dinner is provided.  The event goes from 5:00 to 9:15.   If you wish to serve, Email Shadow Mountain kids ministry to sign up. 
13th  Ronald McDonald House:   Need volunteers to serve at Ronald McDonald House on Wednesday, February 13th from 10am to 2pm.  We are preparing and serving lunch for families with children in the hospital.  Please sign up with Mrs. McKinley in Room 204.
22nd High School students are needed to help with the Junior High Social on Friday evening.  Please see Miss Kurfess if you would like to volunteer.






St. Madeline Sophie’s Center, Morning Glory Brunch.  St. Madeline’s (our neighbor behind the softball field and maintenance yard) needs volunteers for their event on April 27th, from 9:30 to 3:30.  Lunch is provided.   You can serve at a food station (age 16 and over), or help with clean-up (age 14 and over.)   Email Erica Macht, Volunteer Coordinator before April 17th. in order to volunteer.  She will send a waiver form and sign you up.
